87 ANNUAL REPORT 2018 EMPLOYEE VOLUNTEERISM AND COMMUNITY OUTREACH HIGHLIGHTS Kenanga Group was presented the prestigious CSR Award 2018 (Investment Bank category) by CSR Malaysia. The Award is endorsed by the Ministry of Women, Family and Community Development. KENANGA WISHING TREE – “GIFT AN ANG POW, SHARE YOUR BLESSING” We were awarded the coveted CSR Award for the Investment Bank category by CSR Malaysia in July 2018 for our #GreenAtWork campaign. The award served as a platform to celebrate outstanding achievers and inspiring corporations for their efforts to create a better Malaysia through their Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives. We are encouraged by this award and are committed to bringing continuous positive and meaningful change to the communities in which we operate and stakeholders with whom we engage. In 2018, Kenanga Wishing Tree Project was held from 7 to 21 February in conjunction with the Chinese New Year celebration. Red packets or Ang Pow , accompanied by personalised written messages were contributed by our employees for the children of Rumah Hope, a home for underprivileged and abused children.
