10 KENANGA INVESTMENT BANK BERHAD CHAIRMAN’S MESSAGE HIGHLIGHTS While revenue increased marginally to RM669.37 million for the Financial Year Ended 31 December 2018 mainly due to higher income from trading and investment activities, the Profit Before Tax (“ PBT ”) of RM28.85 million was lower compared to the previous year. This was primarily due to impairment on some of its margin accounts. The Board of Directors has declared an interim dividend of 1.1 sen per share, amounting to a total of RM7.7 million, in respect of the Financial Year Ended 31 December 2018.
